The Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake occurred at 5:46 am. on Tuesday, January 17, 1995,
claiming the precious lives of 6,434 people. At the time, our founder was running a kimono production business in Osaka.
Due to this disaster, a client and a friend were killed by being trapped under furniture.
Following the death of an acquaintance,
our founder began developing a material that would not topple furniture even in an Seismic Intensity 7 earthquake,
could be easily removed when rearranging furniture and would not damage the living space. 5 years later,
he succeeded in developing an anti-seismic pad (anti-seismic gel).
